Wrocław Opera and ZETKAMA company, brown sponsor of the event, invite you for the opera on the water “The Flying Dutchman” by Richard Wagner.
In the monumental setting the stage, the audiences will be able to admire the famous opera of Wagner, the great reformer of romantic opera theater and the creator of musical drama. Music director of the event is Ewa Michnik, staging and directed byWaldemar Zawodziński.
“The Flying Dutchman” is one of the most frequently staged operas of German composer Richard Wagner’s Romantic period. Libretto by the composer is based on a story by Heinrich Heine about the sailor cursed, doomed to wander until he finds a woman who will befaithful to him until death. This romantic legend made a big impression on Wagner.
Performances will take place on 5,6,7,12,13,14 June 2015
